A Program of Excellence

Welcome to First United Methodist Preschool, a "Program of Excellence" 
with the North Georgia Preschool Director's Association and "Best of the Best" for 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2018 with the readers of the Griffin Daily News.

We follow the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards for our 1's, 2's, 3's, and Pre-K, and Georgia Kindergarten Standards of Excellence.

Our 1-year olds through 4-year olds utilize many resources, but we have a school-wide faith-based curriculum called Pinnacle, approved by Bright From the Start. Our Kindergarten utilizes Fountas and Pinnell Literacy program, and KinderMath and KinderPhonics by Tara West. All curriculums are standards-based.
